Meet Brad Sims

Brad Sims is a Republican, South Carolina National Guard veteran, former detective, and risk oversight professional running for York County Council District 3.

He lives in Hickory Grove and has spent his life serving others—from deployments to Iraq and Afghanistan, to protecting families and small businesses from fraud and financial crime.

Brad is guided by one simple principle: Service Before Politics.

He believes elected office is a responsibility, not a career, and that public servants should answer to the people they represent—not political games or outside interests.

As a common-sense conservative Republican, Brad is committed to transparency, responsible growth that protects our rural character, and making sure your tax dollars are used wisely.

His goal is simple: to listen, to lead with common sense, and to work every day for the families and communities of York County.

FIRST RESPONDERS
Investing in training and equipment for all first responders—law enforcement, fire, and EMS—to ensure York County remains a safe place to live and work.

FISCAL INTEGRITY
Protecting every taxpayer dollar through strong oversight and common-sense spending that delivers real results for our community.
PLATFORM

RADICAL TRANSPARENCY
Backed by my experience in fraud investigations and risk oversight. I will bring real accountability, clear communication, and ‘Service before Politics’ to every decision made by the Council.

INFRASTRUCTURE
Our roads are falling behind while our county keeps growing. It’s time to fix what we have before expanding further.

SMALL
BUSINESSES
Supporting small businesses by creating a pro-business environment that helps local businesses succeed and brings sustainable, high-quality jobs to York County.
Donations for the campaign have now closed as we enter the final stretch toward Election Day.

Thank you to everyone who has supported this campaign and helped us reach voters across District 3. My focus now is finishing strong, meeting voters, and earning your support on June 9.
